  • 1 can refried beans
  • 1/2 tbsp cumin
  • 3 tsp salt, divided
  • 3 avocados
  • 1 red onion, diced (divided in half)
  • 1 cup cilantro, divided
  • 1/2 lime, juiced

How to Make 7-Layer Vegan Dip


Step 1: Prepare the Layers

  1. Bean Layer: In a bowl, mix together the refried beans, cumin, and 1 tsp of salt.
  2. Guacamole Layer: In another bowl, mash the avocados and mix with half of the diced red onions, 1 tsp salt, cilantro, and lime juice.

Ingredients:

  • 1 can refried beans
  • 1/2 tbsp cumin
  • 3 tsp salt, divided
  • 3 avocados
  • 1 red onion, diced and divided
  • 1 cup cilantro, divided
  • 1/2 lime, juiced
  • 1 can petite diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup Kite Hill Dairy Free Sour Cream
  • 1 cup dairy free mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup black olives, sliced
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Fresh chips for dipping

Instructions:


  1. In a bowl, mix together your refried beans, cumin and 1 tsp of salt.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together your 3 avocados, half of your diced red onions, 1 tsp salt, cilantro, and lime juice.
  3. In a third bowl, for your salsa layer, you will want to mix together your petite diced tomatoes, the remaining red onions and some salt.
  4. To build your dip, start by adding the bean mixture to the bottom layer. Then add your guacamole mixture, followed by the salsa.
  5. Add your Kite Hill Dairy Free Sour Cream as your next layer and then sprinkle your vegan mozzarella cheese on top.
